· Take 211 West to Candor
· Then take 220North to Greensboro
· Option 1:Stay on 220 North. When you get to Greensboro the street name changes to Freeman Mill Road.
· Take a left on Lovett Street. this is the first street after you pass the Coliseum turn and after you pass the Bojangles, which is on the right. there is no stop light and you can easily miss it.
· Lovett will have a name change to Aycock Street. Shortly after you cross Spring Garden Street you will come to Benjamin Parkway. take a left on Benjamin Parkway.
· When Benjamin Parkway and Bryan Boulevard split, KEEP ON BRYAN BOULEVARD.
· Bryan Boulevard will have a name change to Airport parkway.
· Take a right on Hwy 68 and after several miles if will lead you to 220 North.
· Option 2:Take I-40 West toward Winston-Salem. Stay on I-40 West to Airport Exit-Hiway 68 North (Exit 210). Stay on 68 North (through Oak Ridge). 68 ends where it meets 220 North again.
· Begin here from Option 1 or 2: Stay on 220 North to Roanoke, Va
· Take 581 to I-81 North to Lexington,VA (look for Virginia Horse Center signs)
· Take I-64 West toward Charleston,WVa--bares left (exit 191)
· Proceed on I-64 West to Exit 55. At top of ramp turn right onto Route 11 North, go one-tenth mile to route 39 West. (At the Super 8 Motel) Take a left on 39 to the Virginia Horse Center, app 1 mile on the left.
Directions to Local Hotels:
Wingate Inn: Off Exit 191 ramp turn right onto Hwy 11. Hotel is on the right.
Country Inn and Suites: After you exit off I-64 turn left at the top of the ramp. Go towards downtown, cross over I-64, across from Comfort Inn.
The Inn at Hunt Ridge: (Best Western) is on the right just after you turn at the Super 8.
Comfort Inn and Holiday Inn: After you exit off I-64, turn left at the top of the ramp. Go towards downtown, cross over I-64, pass Shoney's and Golden Corral.
Hampton Inn-Col Alto: After you exit off I-64 turn left at the top of the ramp on to Hwy 11. Go towards downtown. Keep on Bus. 11 . Turn left onto Washington Street (if you miss that one turn left onto Nelson Street, at the Palms). The Hampton is at the intersection where Washington and Nelson Streets meet.
Ramada Inn or Red Oak Inn (Travel Lodge): from horse show turn left onto Hwy 11, pass Walmart and keep going you will see the Ramada Inn on your right and the Travel Lodge on the left behind Aunt Sarah's Pancake House.(Or take Exit 195 off of Hwy 81)
