About Us

Forever Farm is owned and operated by Liz McBride-Jones.

Specializing in training American Saddlebred Show Horses and instructing  riders from beginning to advanced.

Liz was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. She began riding at six years of age at Rock Creek Riding Club in 1958 with Jim B. Robertson and Jack Nevitt; then at age eight she started riding with Helen Crabtree. Her basics and love of equitation started at this time. She continued to show in equitation and pleasure classes through her juvenile years. She then attended and graduated from William Woods College. Liz taught at Morehead State University for four years and Stephens College for four years. She worked for many talented people, including Frank and Nancy McConnell, Marilyn Macfarlane, Marcia Carothers, Rob and Sarah Byers, Cecile Hetzel Dunn, and Raymond and Lillian Shively. While at Delovely Farm she met her husband, Ron Jones, a general contractor.

"Forever Farm" began as a dream sketched on a napkin over dinner. Ron built the barn from the sketch, and the dream became a reality.

2006 UPHA Helen Crabtree Equitation Instructor of the Year.
